Kishangarh ‘rape’: Cops procure mobile phone details of all accused

In what could provide vital clues into the Kishangarh ‘rape’ case,the Chandigarh Police have procured the mobile phone call details of all the three accused — Kaka,his brother Gurnam and their friend Vinod. The woman was allegedly abducted and raped repeatedly in moving car on April 23 before being abandoned at Leisure Valley on the following evening.

Sources with the police say while the accused has claimed in custody that he was at his Kishangarh residence on the night of April 23,the tower location of his mobile phone indicates he was in Manimajra.

“His position was constant throughout the night.

It means he was stationed at one spot,” said a police officer.

The call details also reveal that main accused Gurnam Singh along with the other two ‘accomplices’ had gone to Amritsar on the following day.

“For now,we are scanning the call documents,” said DSP (East) P K Dhawan.
