Kadhal Sandhya,who is nowadays busy in Malayalam,was injured recently during a shoot.
Sandhya,who is one of the heroines of the film Three Kings,was injured when she was shooting for a risky sequence near the Athirapally waterfalls. Indrajith and Sandhya were on a bike that skidded as the road was slippery. Both of them suffered minor bruises and have been advised short rest.
Three Kings is directed by V.K.Prakash and has Kunchacko Boban,Jayasurya and Indrajith as the three heroes. Sandhya,Samvritha Sunil and Anne Augustine are the lead ladies.
Jeeva awaiting release of Ko
Jeeva is eagerly awaiting the release of Ko,his forthcoming film. The popular actor,who has earlier given hits including Siva Manassulla Shakthi,is waiting for the film because its cinematographer-turned-director K.V. Anand has a proven track record and is noted for his way of filmmaking.
Ko,which has Karthika playing the heroine,is set to release in February,coinciding with Valentines Day celebrations. Sony Music has grabbed the audio rights for the film,which has music by Harris Jayaraj.
Lal to play hero once again
Lal has made his mark in Malayalam cinema as a director,actor,producer,distributor and scenarist as well. The Lal-directed Tournament Play- Replay,released this Christmas,which is his third film as solo director (earlier he had directed films along with his friend and director Siddique),is not faring well at the box-office.
Lal is now all set to play the hero in Salt And Pepper,to be directed by Ashique Abu. This would be the second film by Ashique Abu,who had made his debut with the Mammootty starrer Daddy Cool. It will be Shwetha Menon who will be acting opposite Lal in this film.
Jayasurya in Janapriyan
Jayasurya is now a real Janapriyan,i.e.,popular person. And hence Boban Samuel is very much justified when he names his debut directorial venture,starring Jayasurya in key role,as Janapriyan.
Boban Samuel,who has been active on the small screen and who has also acted in a key role years back in Ithaa Oru Snehagaatha (which had Vikram playing hero for the first time),makes his big screen debut with Janapriyan,which has Jayasurya and Manoj.K.Jayan playing pivotal roles. Jayasurya and Manoj.K.Jayan play two characters that are opposite in nature. Bhama is the heroine.

Kalabhavan Mani in Azhakadal
Kalabhavan Mani plays the hero in Azhakadal,meaning deep sea. The film has the sea as its backdrop and Kalabhavan Mani plays a fisherman,for the first time ever. The shoot for the film,directed by debutant Shan,has already begun at Chavakkad and some of the scenes have been shot at sea too.
Shruthi Lakshmi plays the heroine in the film,which has story by T.A.Razack and screenplay and dialogues by debutant Subodh Cherthala. Harisri Ashokan,Vijayaraghavan,Saikumar,Shammi Thilakan,Meghanathan and others form the cast. Saloo George is in charge of cinematography of the film produced by P.Ramachandran under the banner of Pooja Films.
Suresh Gopi-Sharath Kumar in Renji Panicker film
Suresh Gopi and Sharath Kumar are to come together in Judgement Day,a film that will be directed by Renji Panicker. This would be script- writer Panickers fourth film as director. He has already directed Bharath Chandran IPS and Roudram and is now busy with the making of The King v/s Commissioner.
Renji Panicker himself would be penning the script for Judgement Day,which has Suresh Gopi playing a criminal lawyer named Ramdas.
