Friendly ties

With an aim to further cooperation between various nations,a six-member youth delegation from Chandigarh’s Friends of China Association (FCA) left for Germany on July 11 in a tie-up with Sport Youth North-Rhine Westphalia,a German province. According to Balraj Singh Shergill,president,FCA,the six-member team will participate in a youth camp being held from July 12 to July 22 and interact with young German leaders. “A team of Chinese youth leaders are also arriving in Germany to participate in the camp and it will be a good opportunity for youngsters to get to know their countries better,” Shergill said. During their stay in Germany,the team would visit Frankfurt,Bonn,Ruhr and Dusseldorf to attend workshops and seminars.
