Doon reprimands 100 cops at weekly parade

Continuing with its efforts to bring discipline among its force,over hundred police men of various ranks were reprimanded by the Senior Superintendent of Police.

Continuing with its efforts to bring discipline among its force,over hundred police men of various ranks were reprimanded by the Senior Superintendent of Police (Traffic & Security) H S Doon during the weekly parade. The weekly parade,aimed at keeping the cops fit and bring discipline,was held in Police Lines in Sector 26 at 6 am and over 500 police men from various wings of the Chandigarh Police turned up for the parade. And during this inspection,Doon found that many cops were not wearing uniform properly,some were having long hair and some had come to the parade in a casual way.

“Doon took strong note of the indiscipline and 100 policemen were given three hours times and were told to to come to the Police Headquarters for another inspection,” police sources said. After three hours all these police men were inspected at the Police Headquarters again and Doon was satisfied with the police men this time.
