College student raped,blackmailed in Jaipur

A college girl in Jaipur was allegedly raped by two men who coerced her not to report the matter.

A college girl was allegedly raped by two men who coerced her not to report the matter to police claiming they had filmed her during the criminal assault.

The girl,staying in a hostel,was allegedly raped a few months back in Shiprapath area here by the two men who had been arrested along with another person,police said.

The arrest of the two and that of the hostel warden were effected after the girl,student of a private college,lodged a complaint to police last night.

In her complaint,the girl said she initially did not file the complaint as she was blackmailed by her tormentors who claimed they had made a video of the act involving her.

This kept her quiet,she said.

“Madan Singh,aged 35,and 34-year-old Deepak,who have been arrested are builders,” Shiprapath Police Station SI Yadram said.

The hostel warden was arrested on charges of colluding with the two men,he said.
