The party’s political resolution was also presented at the meeting of the executive committee today. In the resolution, the party blamed the central government for helping both the BSP and the Congress.

The party said the Congress-headed UPA government was showing laxity in legal cases pending against UP CM Mayawati. The party also claimed that the Centre was silently supporting the unconstitutional works of the Mayawati government.

Targeting the BSP,the BJP’s resolution said Mayawati was behaving like an autocrat. It said she had no connection with the people of the state. While the legislative council had become insignificant, the assembly remained in session for only 77 days under the current regime.
