Aditya,Rishabh bowl Stepping Stones to win

Five-wicket haul each from Aditya (5 for 18) and Rishabh (5 for 12) helped Stepping Stones Cricket Academy beat District Coaching Centre,Panchkula by seven wickets in the Stepping Stones Cricket Tournament played at the school grounds in Sector 37 on Friday.

Batting first,Panchkula Coaching Centre were dimissed for a paltry score of 54 runs in 17.2 overs. Aditya and Rishabh wrecked havock on the oppostion batting team with their superb bowling and bowled them for a low score. None of the batsmen reached double figures. Amrinder top scored with eight runs.

Chasing the target,Stepping Stones overhauled the total in 11.2 overs losing three wickets.

In another match of the day,Guru Nanak Public School and Chandigarh Cricket Association (GNPS & CCA) recorded an easy 56-run win over MCM Blue Caps.

GNPS & CCA batted first and posted 151 for 8 in 20 overs. Abdullah top scored with 32 and remained unbeaten till the end. Harinder contributed 29 runs. Srijan and Ranav bagged two wickets each. In reply,MCM Blue Caps could muster 95 for 6 in 20 overs. Manan scored 23 runs.
