It was a touch and go visit,“more like a prelude to a holiday,” smiles film 1920’s actor Rajneesh Duggal, who made a short stopover in Chandigarh before pushing off for Pathankot and Amritsar to catch up with his family. Now that he’s made his debut, the actor’s warming up to the industry, and vice versa. “To be honest,it’s a great feeling and experience,” he shares, pretty excited about his films which will go on the floor this year.

“Post Vikram Bhatt’s 1920,I have four films in my kitty,” he says, starting with the thriller Phir which basically works on what goes around comes around. But it’s the next one which seems interesting. “Paradise in Kashmir,it’s being directed by Sudhir Mishra’s assistant,Sandeep Verma, and it’s a light hearted comedy set in Kashmir.” Duggal plays a lovable character in the film,a jack of all trades. “It’s a sweet romantic feel good film,” Duggal confesses that he was a little hesitant, scared too to shoot in Kashmir. “But then, the producers have a political control, which eases out the pressure a bit,” he relaxes adding how nowhere is safe anymore. “Look at what happened in Mumbai

Next to look forward to is Zee Films Handsome Four. “An out and out rugged guy flick about four convicts who escape from a jail and have the cops on their tail,” tells Duggal. This one’s from Guddu Dhanoa and is being shot in Bangkok. There’s another untitled one which Duggal reserves for next time. Till then!
