Samastipur (Bihar) Assembly Election Results 2025 Winner: Ashwamedh Devi of JD(U) won the Samastipur assembly seat, defeating Akhtarul Islam Shahin (RJD), Chetna Jhamb (IND), Dinesh Kumar Rai (Rashtriya Jansambhavna Party), Irshad Ahmad (Apna Kisan Party), Manoj Kumar Singh (Jan Suraaj Party), Nitesh Kumar Sinha (Bharatiya Sampuran Krantikari Party), Premjeet Kumar (Aadarsh Mithila Party), Rajan Kumar (AAP), Rakesh Kumar (SUCI(C)), Shivam Kumar Raj (The Plurals Party), Vinay Kumar Ram (BSP).
Samastipur Election Results 2025: There are 243 assembly seats in Bihar.Samastipur (Bihar) Assembly Election Results 2025 Live: Ashwamedh Devi of JD(U) won the Samastipur assembly seat, defeating Akhtarul Islam Shahin (RJD), Chetna Jhamb (IND), Dinesh Kumar Rai (Rashtriya Jansambhavna Party), Irshad Ahmad (Apna Kisan Party), Manoj Kumar Singh (Jan Suraaj Party), Nitesh Kumar Sinha (Bharatiya Sampuran Krantikari Party), Premjeet Kumar (Aadarsh Mithila Party), Rajan Kumar (AAP), Rakesh Kumar (SUCI(C)), Shivam Kumar Raj (The Plurals Party), Vinay Kumar Ram (BSP).
In the 2025 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – Ashwamedh Devi of the JD(U), Manoj Kumar Singh of the Jan Suraaj Party, Akhtarul Islam Shahin of the RJD and others.
In the last Assembly elections, the RJD’s Akhtarul Islam Shahin won by a margin of 4714 votes. The JD(U)’s Ashwamedh Devi was the runner up securing 63793 votes.
Bihar witnessed a voter turnout of 57.3% this year, slightly higher than in 2020. The regional alliances — the RJD-led Mahagathbandhan and the NDA comprising JD(U) and BJP and others — battled for dominance in the state.
