The Karnataka Assembly elections are scheduled to be held on May 10 and counting of votes will take place on May 13. The term of the current 224-seat Karnataka Assembly gets over on May 24.

We take a look at the assets of one of the top candidates in the fray. Ganesh Hukkeri has filed his nominations from Chikkodi-Sadalga, the constituency he currently represents as an MLA from the Congress party. Hukkeri has declared assets worth Rs 12.13 crore while his liabilities stand at Rs 1.25 crore. The MLA has movable and immovable assets worth Rs 8.41 crore and Rs 3.72 crore respectively.
