Gujjar leader Kirori Singh Bainsla on Wednesday joined the BJP at the party’s headquarter in New Delhi.

Joining the BJP in the presence of Union minister Prakash Javadekar, who handles the party’s election affairs in Rajasthan, Bainsla said, “I have been campaigning for Gujjar reservation for the last 14 years. And in these 14 years, I have been close to Chief Ministers of both parties (BJP and Congress) and witnessed their working style and ideology. So today, I have come here to tell you that I am joining BJP because what I saw in Prime Minister, he’s endowed with the rarest of rare qualities. Modiji is Samudragupta incarnate. He interacts with an ordinary person and understands his ache. I have been immensely affected by his working style. That’s why I have come here.”

“I would like to say that backward classes, who have not got justice, should get their due. I have joined this party as an ordinary member and I pledge my loyalty and allegiance to the party and to the Prime Minister,” Kirori said.
