Pricey Audi TT gets ’embedded’ in UK home in sensational crash

In a freak accident,a man,in his twenties,was seriously hurt with head injuries after a car crashed and ended up embedded in a house in Suffolk,UK.

In a freak accident,a man,in his twenties,was seriously hurt with head injuries after a car crashed and ended up embedded in a house in Suffolk,UK.

Emergency services were summoned to Long Meadow Walk,Lowestoft,to find a red Audi TT had left the road and crashed into the home.

A man was removed from the car and taken to the James Paget Hospital with serious head injuries,the BBC reported.

He has since been transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

Structural engineers are on site to inspect the property.

No-one inside the house was injured,the report said.

“When I got there and saw the car through the hole in the hedge I thought that looks serious,” Keith Shales said,a neighbour said.

“I’ve seen photos of cars going into people’s houses before but from the pavement,through the bushes and the cars behind it – it was like a launch pad – it must have been for him to get that high.

“I reckon he must be about four feet off the ground,I’ve never seen anything like it,” Shales told the BBC.

Sergeant Bob Patterson,of Suffolk Police,said: “Collision investigators will be at the scene today as we try to ascertain exactly what has occurred.

“At this early stage we could not speculate as to what has caused the crash,” the Sun reported.
