Democratic lawmakers on the House Oversight Committee have released more documents from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate, showing that the late financier was friends with some of the most powerful and wealthiest men in the world.

The six pages of records from Jeffrey Epstein’s daily schedules have the names of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, former Trump ally Steve Bannon, PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel, and UK’s Prince Andrew.

Breakfast with Gates, Musk

According to the documents, on December 4, 2014, Epstein had a tentative breakfast party with Gates to which American businessmen Ron Baron and Josh Harris were also invited. Musk had planned a trip to Epstein’s private island in the US Virgin Islands on December 6, 2014, the documents showed.

Epstein had a lunch planned with Thiel on November 27, 2017, and a breakfast with Bannon on February 16, 2019, just months before he was charged with sex trafficking of minors.

No evidence of wrongdoing

While the pages from Epstein’s schedule show he was in touch with these people, there is no evidence in the documents to suggest that they knew about how he was sexually abusing teenage girls.

Flight log released by the lawmakers also showed that Prince Andrew flew with Epstein from New Jersey to Florida.

‘Epstein was friends with powerful men’

“It should be clear to every American that Jeffrey Epstein was friends with some of the most powerful and wealthiest men in the world,” Oversight Committee Democrats spokesperson Sara Guerrero said in a statement.

The records redacted the names of victims, and the committee plans to release more once those are redacted as well.

“Every new document produced provides new information as we work to bring justice for the survivors and victims. Oversight Democrats will not stop until we identify everyone complicit in Epstein’s heinous crimes,” the statement added.
