The Minnesota Timberwolves achieved a historic 20-point comeback to defeat the defending champion Denver Nuggets 98-90 in Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals on Sunday.
With this victory, Minnesota advances to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in 20 years. Meanwhile, the Nuggets become the fifth consecutive defending champion to be eliminated before reaching the conference finals, according to a report by CNN.
According to ESPN, this marks the largest Game 7 comeback in 25 years.
After the win, Timberwolves’ rising superstar Anthony Edwards joined the crew on the show ‘Inside the NBA’. When anchor Charles Barkley mentioned that he hadn’t been to Minnesota in around 20 years, Edwards delivered the line of the night, which has now become a new slogan for the Minnesota tourism industry.
With a quick and memorable three-word reply to Barkley, Edwards said, “Bring ya ass!,” as seen in a video by the NBA.

It did not take long for the Minnesota Tourism Council to pounce upon the chance. On Monday morning, the URL BringYaAss.com redirected visitors to the Explore Minnesota website, where they can learn all about visiting — or even moving to — Minnesota. You can learn about “Festivals and Events,” “Outdoor Adventures,” “Food and Drink,” and “Family Fun.”
The hardwood lights up every time Anthony Edwards steps onto the court. The Minnesota Timberwolves struck the gold when they selected him as the first overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft.
At just 22 years old, Edwards has already etched his name into the NBA lore. His explosive athleticism, silky-smooth jump shot, and fearlessness in clutch moments have fans and analysts alike buzzing.
Growing up in Atlanta, Georgia, Edwards earned the nickname “Ant-Man” from his father. His transition from football to basketball paid off, and he became a high school sensation at Therrell High School. His dazzling performances caught the attention of scouts across the nation.
Edwards took his talents to the University of Georgia Bulldogs, where he showcased his scoring ability and versatility. His freshman year was nothing short of spectacular, earning him the SEC Freshman of the Year title.
The Timberwolves knew they had something special when they drafted Edwards. His rookie season was a highlight reel, and he secured All-Rookie honors. But he didn’t stop there. In 2023 and 2024, he earned back-to-back NBA All-Star selections, cementing his status as one of the league’s brightest stars.
