Union Budget 2025 Date: The Union Budget is a major financial record for the government’s finances that includes an estimate of income and spending for the upcoming fiscal year.
As the nation awaits the next Union Budget for FY 2025, which will be given by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman of Modi 3.0, it is expected to define the course for India’s financial policy for the forthcoming year.
Sitharaman will be presenting her eighth budget, consisting of six annual and two interim budgets, overtaking former Prime Minister Morarji Desai’s record for the most budgets presented.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is expected to unveil the second Union Budget 2025 of the Modi 3.0 administration on the first day of next month, February 1, 2025, at 11 a.m., keeping the long-standing tradition of delivering the budget on the first of February.
However, the government has yet to issue an official confirmation, citing concerns over the date and time because February 1 falls on a Saturday this year.
Nonetheless, there have been multiple instances suggesting that the Union Budget has traditionally been delivered on a Saturday.
The budget address will be broadcast live on Parliament’s official channels, Sansad TV and Doordarshan, as well as on each channel’s own official YouTube page.
Additionally, one can also check the Indian Express YouTube channel, as it will also broadcast the budget address.
The Union Budget Web Portal (www.indiabudget.gov.in), which is available in English and Hindi, also provides digital access to the Budget 2025 papers, which comprise essential budget papers such as the yearly financial statement, grant requests, and the finance bill, as required by the Constitution.
