A rescue video of a stray dog trapped in a 40-feet-deep dry water purification tank for over eight days has gone viral on social media. The video was shared by Pune-based charitable trust RESQ.
The 45-second video, which has been viewed over 2,000 times, shows a member of the rescue team approaching the nervous stray dog at the base of the tank with the help of a lever-pully.

However, as he approaches the animal, the dog turns restless and can be seen running around to avoid contact. Soon, with the help of a net, the rescuer was able to catch the dog and release it on to safe ground.

Once shared online, the video went viral and actor Richa Chadha too re-tweeted the clip, thanking the rescuers for helping the animal.
