Moving to a new city to work or study is always difficult. We miss home and more importantly mom's home-cooked food. Now a new video by Fortune shows just how much mothers care when it comes their children's health and how far they will go to give their kids 'ghar ka khana.' The video starts how two mothers are concerned about their sons' health and diet. There's Aishwarya from Chennai whose son Santosh is studying at Jodhpur, and there's Manju from Jodhpur whose son Vivek is in Chennai. The mothers get in touch with each other through Fortune's Mother Exchange initiative and the video shows how the two of them learn to make the favourite dish of each other's son. Through many Skype chats, calls the two mothers eventually manage to master the favourite food dishes of Vivek and Santosh. It is remarkable because Manju can only speak in Hindi and doesn't know English. The video shows how the two mothers learn the recipes, struggle to find the right ingredients at times (Manju has trouble finding drumsticks for Sambhar in Jodhpur) and even getting the taste right. But in the end, the mothers succeed and the boys get the biggest surprise of their life. Watch the video below:
