The largest iPhone is the 6.7-inch Pro Max. However, popular YouTuber Matthew Beem has now constructed an 8 feet tall ‘iPhone’ that is capable of most iPhone features like clicking pictures, setting alarms, and even making transactions using Apple Pay.
In a YouTube video, Beem shared how he and his team constructed the oversized phone and bought it to some of New York’s most iconic spots, including an Apple store, to gauge people’s reactions. The ‘iPhone’ was made by formatting a large, flatscreen TV and converting it into a touchscreen. However, Beem does not go into the exact details of how the phone was made.
At the end of the video, Beem shows this ‘iPhone’ to popular tech reviewer Marques Brownlee, professionally known as MKBHD, who jokingly referred to this phone as the “iPhone 14 Pro Max Plus Ultra” and gave it a rating of 8/10.
Beem’s video has gathered over 9.5 lakh views since it was posted on June 22. A YouTube user commented on Beem’s video, and wrote, “Did anyone actually notice that this is not actually ios, its actually Android with a ios home launcher, you can notice it when everytime he opens the camera app, the top right shows the green camera icon which happens on Android 12 and above. Still its actually quite impressive”. Another person wrote, “I never knew i was gonna say this as a Samsung user but, now i finally saw an iPhone that i really want😂”.
