Watch: Youth does pull-ups holding highway signboard 10m above road in Uttar Pradesh, police react to viral video

Social media platforms have prompted many users to push the envelope to become viral sensations. Several incidents of youth performing reckless stunts for reel videos have been reported in the past. A new video emerged on the internet on Sunday that shows a youth doing pull-ups holding a highway signboard placed 10 metres above the road in Uttar Pradesh.

The signboard in the video displays “NH 931, Munshiganj 06 (left arrow), Amethi 3.5 (right arrow).” The viral clip captures the young man doing the pull-ups, holding the iron structure. Another youngster can be seen sitting on the top of the pole. Sharing the video, X handle @AmethiliveCom wrote, “A young man was seen doing pull-ups on the kilometer signboard, risking his life doing pull-ups on the board 10 meters above the road, the video has been posted from an Instagram ID named Sachin.”

Amethi Police immediately responded to the video, promising a probe into the matter. “The matter is in the knowledge of Amethi Police Station. The viral video is being investigated, and after investigation, necessary legal action will be taken against the persons doing the stunt as per the rules,” the official X handle of Amethi Police wrote.
