Mumbai saw an electrifying night as global pop sensation Dua Lipa performed at the Zomato Feeding India Concert on Saturday. The Grammy-winning artist stunned the audience with her rendition of the famous mashup of her hit “Levitating” with Shah Rukh Khan’s classic “Woh Ladki Jo” from the Bollywood film Baadshah, created by DJ Ruchir.

Amid the buzz on social media, a post by an X user Samarth is garnering widespread attention. In his post, the user claimed that Dua Lipa concert’s gold passes—that were sold at over Rs 13,000—were available at Rs 2,000 outside the venue, Mumbai’s MMRDA, BKC. “Dua Lipa resale market was so bad, people were selling Gold passes at 2K outside the venue, which had MRP of 13.5K. And yes, the Gold zone wasn’t as packed as it should have. Dua / Zomato will try to hide those empty passages in pictures somehow,” he wrote.

The user also advised concertgoers not to buy tickets for the Maroon 5 concert, which is slated for December 3 in Mumbai. “Promoters should really think twice before putting tickets on sale at such absurd prices. Same thing will repeat for Maroon 5. If you don’t have a Maroon 5 ticket yet, just don’t buy now and go outside venue on the show day and purchase from there at literally 50-60% discount. Resellers will do anything to get rid of those tickets and end up selling you at insanely cheap price,” he wrote.

Several users reacted to the post with one commenting, “Bought tickets at 18K, sold at 6K! Just Zomato things!” Another user wrote, “This is truth bro. One of my friends got ticket at 1500 which was worth 6500!!(silver). Many people were selling tickets outside.”

“This also happens during sunburn people just wanna get rid of the tickets, just for some money,” a third user said.

The concert, organised in partnership with the pop sensation and Zomato’s non-profit Feeding India, aims to raise money and awareness to promote the distribution of food to underprivileged areas throughout the nation.
