The World Championship of Legends (WCL) cricket tournament in the UK saw a remarkable performance by AB de Villiers as South Africa defeated Pakistan in the final on Saturday. However, it was tournament owner Harshit Tomar’s unexpected post-match antics in Birmingham that truly set the internet abuzz. During an interview with broadcast host Karishma Kotak, Harshit Tomar stunned both her and viewers with a surprise proposal.
“How are you gonna celebrate today?” Kotak asked Tomar.
Responding to her, Tomar said, “Well, once this is over! probably I am gonna propose to you. Thank you, take care.” Taken aback, Kotak responded, “Oh my God,” before quickly regaining her composure and continuing the broadcast.

The video quickly gained traction, prompting a range of reactions. “Oh my God. I have seen this guy in Roadies Audition. I guess his name was Harshit. There he was claiming that he had a lot of girlfriends and his one liners made girls go in love with him. Raghu and Ranvijay absolutely destroyed him,” a user wrote.
“Disgusting, plus he gave her a pat on her back, that’s ridiculous, she looks utterly disgusted,” another user commented.
“He’ll get away with this because he is rich; he should be charged for using undue influence,” a third user reacted.
According to reports, Karishma Kotak’s breakthrough project was for Kingfisher Calendar 2006. She further went on to collaborate with several high-end brands. The British model and TV anchor also participated in Bigg Boss season 6, hosted by Salman Khan. In 2016, she made her Punjabi film debut with Kaptaan.
In the WCL final, Pakistan’s captain Mohammad Hafeez won the toss and chose to bat first. Sharjeel Khan contributed significantly with 76 runs, helping Pakistan set a target of 195 runs for 5 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. In response, South Africa chased down the target effortlessly, with AB de Villiers leading the charge, scoring 120 not out off just 60 balls.
