Scooter turned into sofa, car’s pressure plate for wall clock: Kerala man’s house reflects his passion for automobiles

The creativity begins right at the entrance where a Yamaha RX 100 fuel tank doubles as a quirky post box. Outside, a Bajaj Chetak handlebar and headlamp light up the door. Step inside and the theme continues – a scooter’s body turned into another sofa, a glass-topped Yamaha RX 100 engine serving as coffee table, and a Maruti Suzuki Swift’s pressure plate reimagined as a wall clock.

The house not only reflects the man’s passion for automobiles but also highlights his resourcefulness and eye for design. The video goes on to show a photograph of the homeowner receiving an award from the Chief Minister of Goa, surrounded by the many accolades he has earned.

The story of this homeowner – who was not identified by name in the video – is just as remarkable as the space he has built. “I used to work as a JCB operator and didn’t have much money to construct a house,” he shared with Saraswat. “But my passion for automobiles pushed me to create this place. Growing up, I didn’t own a bike or car, but I taught myself to repair and build them. Now, I have a garage to call my own.”

Clearly moved by the man’s words, Saraswat responded with admiration: “Sir, you’ve inspired me so much.” The heartfelt reaction resonated with many viewers. The video has since gone viral, amassing over 69.4 million views and sparking an outpouring of likes and comments across social media.
