The Indian Premiere League (IPL) 2024 was in full swing on April 9 as Chennai Super Kings (CSK) locked horns with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. A video from the match is doing rounds on the internet wherein Ravindra Jadeja can be seen teasing the crowd by walking ahead of Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

The now-viral video shows Jadeja pretending to bat before Dhoni. As the crowd cheers, Jadeja walks down towards the pitch and walks back while laughing. The video then shows Dhoni walking out to bat.

Sharing the video on X, a user wrote, “Ravindra Jadeja teased the Chepauk crowd by coming ahead of MS Dhoni then going back. This is amazing.”

The said video is winning the hearts of cricket buffs with over 6,67,000 views on the platform and several reactions. A user commented, “ It’s wonderful to see #Jadeja playing with the crowd. Especially after last year when everyone in the stadium was chanting for #MSDhoni every time Jaddu came out to bat. Not sure he liked it too much. But then again All’s well that ends well!” Another user wrote, “Ravindra Jadeja said, ‘my title (like Thala, Chinna Thala) hasn’t yet been verified, hopefully, they’ll give me one (laughs)'”. In another video that went viral from last night’s IPL match, KKR’s all-rounder Andre Russell was seen covering his ears at the square leg boundary as the crowd cheered out loud for MS Dhoni.

CSK won the toss against KKR on Monday and opted to fly first. Led by Ruturaj Gaikwad, CSK won by seven wickets.
