For many diehard fans of Shah Rukh Khan, he is a soothing balm who has the power to ease their troubles. As Shah Rukh Khan and director Atlee’s latest film ‘Jawan’ breaks records at the box office every day, a video of a woman dancing to a song from the film while she is in a hospital is going viral. The video even elicited a response from the actor after someone posted it on the microblogging platform X.
“This is very good! Thank u… Get well soon and watch the film!!! Looking forward to another dance video but once you’re out of the hospital…. Love u!!” Shah Rukh wrote.
Prisha David, a dancer and content creator, was admitted to a hospital recently. She posted a video on her Instagram account (@prisha_david) in which she is seen grooving to the song ‘Chaleya’, sung by Arijit Singh and Shilpa Rao. David, who is dressed in a loose hospital gown and has a drip inserted into her hand, grooved to the song and showed off her dance moves cheerfully from the hospital room.
“SRK kept me sane in the hospital,” a text insert in the video says. She captioned the video, “SRK HAS HEALING POWERS”.

Posted on August 28, the clip has received 1.1 million views so far and lots of comments.
“You dancing on this song healed me!!! get well soon,” a user commented. “Sick leave not approved,” joked another. “Wow you are dancing in a hospital and that too after being a patient, truly inspiring,” said a third. “You danced in the hospital too! Crazy girl you are!!” another user wrote.
She mentioned in a comment that she was admitted to the hospital on August 25 and was discharged on the night of August 28.
After a record-breaking week in theatres, Jawan’s net box office stands at Rs 328 crore in India, and a gross total of over Rs 600 crore worldwide. This is the biggest-ever first-week total for a Hindi film in history.
