In a unique display of creativity, a popular music group from Kolkata recycled household waste to make musical instruments to play at Kolkata International Drum Festival. The group of children sang Bengali nursery rhymes while playing the makeshift instruments.
Shared by influencer Meghdut Roy Chowdhury, the viral reel shows the group donning black merchandise by Kolkata Creative Waste Art Center and giving a phenomenal performance. Some members can also be seen using plastic bottles and steel plates to create beats. “Look at that confidence. Breakout stars from the Kolkata International Drum Festival 2025,” Chowdhury captioned the video.
