A Delhi-based graphic designer has triggered a heated debate after claiming that working in a company with no women employees and older colleagues has created a “drama-free” environment. On Friday, Anurag Maurya announced his new job on X, revealing that his workplace consists solely of men over the age of 40 and has no women employees.

“Finally joined a company with no women, and all my colleagues are 40+ in age. No drama, no politics. Apne kaam se kaam,” he wrote, suggesting that a lack of female colleagues contributed to a smoother work atmosphere and irking several social media users who slammed him for his “sexist” remark.

Maurya’s post came just days after he announced on X that he was seeking full-time graphic designer positions in Delhi. While some congratulated him on his new job, others pushed back against his claim that office drama is linked to gender.

The post garnered nearly 6,00,00 views, dividing the Internet. Reacting to it, a user wrote, “You are mistaken.. all male colleagues = office politics.” Another user commented, “So, no women at home also to avoid drama? Life must be really peaceful for you.”

“Sounds like my first job in 1999-2001 only female was the receptionist rest all were male 40+ except for my boss and the owner of the company who was 26 years old,” a third user said. “Let it be promotion time, and then see,” another X user wrote.
