11 kinds of laddoos ordered by BJP workers in Chhattisgarh's Raipur

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and workers in Chhattisgarh’s Raipur prepared 201 kg of laddoos of 11 kinds to celebrate the lead BJP-led NDA lead in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. The video of the delectable spread of different varieties of laddoos is being widely circulated on social media on election results day.

The viral video gives a glimpse of boondi laddoos, besan laddoos, coconut laddoos, gond laddoos, atta laddoos, chocolate sprinkles laddoos, among others. Sharing the video on X, ANI wrote, “Raipur, Chhattisgarh: 201 kg of laddus ordered by BJP leaders and workers to celebrate victory. Counting for the Lok Sabha Polls 2024 will be held today.”

“We have set the target to distribute 201 kg of laddus and we have ordered 11 types of laddus. We will distribute laddus from noon till 11 at night,”, said BJP district vice president Lalit Jai Singh while speaking to ANI on Sunday.

In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, 38 candidates were contesting from the Raipur Lok Sabha constituency. In 2019 the number of contestants for this seat was 25, while in 2014 there were 36 candidates. The number was 32 in the 2009 polls.

According to the latest EC trends, BJP is leading in Chhattisgarh with 10 seats while the Congress has only 1 seat.

In another video, halwais were seen making pooris and sweets at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi. The video shows several halwais rolling pooris and tossing them into hot oil to fry them.

BJP-led NDA, as of 1:30 pm, is struggling to reach the 300-seat mark, which will still be about 100 short of the 400 seats they claimed they would get.
