Indian weddings are known for their rich traditions and larger-than-life celebrations. From mehendi and sangeet to haldi, the wedding festivities last for at least three days. Whether hosted in India or in another corner of the world, these events never shy away from going all out. A recent wedding in Thailand is proof of that, where a groom turned heads by arriving at his baraat not in a traditional car or carriage, but in a Batmobile, the famous vehicle of superhero Batman.
In the viral video, the groom, Fenil, is seen standing atop the Batmobile, surrounded by friends and family members dancing to the dhol beats. As beats echo in the background, Fenil joins in, showing off a few dance moves and grabbing eyeballs for his Batmobile.
Shared by an Instagram handle @friendsstudio.in, the caption read, “Fenil leke nikla apni khushiyon ki baarat, dhol nagade aur dosto ke saath”—which translates to “Fenil set out with his wedding procession full of joy, drums, and friends.”

The video sparked a wave of reactions, with several users calling the move “waste of money.” However, many expressed excitement to see an Indian groom with a Batmobile. “Now that’s how you make a baraat entrance,” a user wrote. “This car is a Dream of atleast 100 crore boys existing,” another user commented.
“Car completely over shadowed everyone including dulha,” a third user reacted. “Such a waste of money. Invest in a flat in Dubai,” a fourth user wrote.
In May, a video of an Indian baraat with over 400 guests dancing through New York City’s Wall Street sparked a debate on social media. The viral video showed the baraatis dressed in traditional colour-coded attire as they danced on the tunes of the DJ set in the middle of Wall Street.
