India defeated Pakistan by six runs in the highly-anticipated T20 World Cup 2024 on Sunday. Celebratory posts flooded social media soon after Jasprit Bumrah ended the game by taking three wickets. Amid the buzz, Delhi Police shared a quirky message for the New York City Police Department.

Tagging NYPD News on X, the Delhi police wrote, “We heard two loud noises. One is “Indiaaa..India!”, and another is probably of broken televisions. Can you please confirm?”

Pakistan failed to finish the target of 120 runs and lost the match by six runs on Sunday. Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan hit maximum score.

The match got delayed due to rain and India could not score big against Pakistan. Rishabh Pant became the lone warrior with 40 runs. The match got exciting after Jasprit Bumrah took three wickets while Axar Patel and Arshdeep Singh picked up one wicket each.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and opted to bowl first against Rohit Sharma-led India. The match began at 11.20 am local time (8.50 pm IST) at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
