In Mumbai, Navratri celebrations feel incomplete without the enchanting voice of Falguni Pathak, who is known as “Garba Queen”. A recent video that is being circulated widely on social media captured the electric atmosphere of these festivities, proving that not even rain can dampen the spirit of the revellers.
In the video, Pathak can be seen singing for her audience, despite the rain, holding an umbrella. The audience is fully immersed in the experience, hands raised high in excitement. A few of them can be seen using umbrellas.
As the camera shifts to the screen behind Pathak, a prominent image of her guru, Shri Aniruddha, appears. The text on the video reads, “Falguni garba + Rains”. The Instagram account @showglitzevents captioned the video: “Come rain, come storm, there’s no stopping in playing Garba with the one and only Falguni Pathak.”

Falguni Pathak’s Navratri celebration at the Swargiya Pramod Mahajan Maidan is now in its seventh year. The event draws massive crowds each year.
Organisers expected more than 30,000 attendees each day, with the total number of participants over the ten-day festival likely to surpass half a million, said an ANI report. This year’s Navratri is turning out to be one of the biggest celebrations in the state.
