A digital creator from Dubai has captured the attention of social media with her recent visit to Jaipur. But it’s not the typical touristy sights that have everyone talking; instead, it’s the genuine connection she formed during her stay at a homestay with a 70-year-old woman.

The creator, whose online handle is @sukkarilife, embarked on a journey to India with a mission to experience the country’s culture firsthand. Little did she know that her stay with a 70-year-old would turn into an unforgettable bonding experience.

The video starts with her letting everyone know she is currently living in a homestay owned by the elderly woman. Throughout her time there, she documented her experiences, shared snippets and also mentioned how adorable the entire house is.

In the video, she is seen panning her camera around the garden of the house, adorned with bonsai trees, a small fountain, the set of tables and chairs for a cosy evening or early morning and so on. Then the video transitions into her trying out parathas from what can be seen and she expresses she’s never felt so loved before.

Then she explains how delicious Indian food is and goes on to narrate how the 70-year-old lady does everything from scratch on her own. Netizens couldn’t help but be moved by the genuine appreciation. She ended the video by letting social media users know she might extend her stay just for the sake of Indian food and the warmth from this Indian lady.

One user said, “Hi, where in India is this? It is so pretty.” Another user commented, “Now I get why travelling is so addictive! It must be amazing meeting so many people from different cultures. Done 28 countries myself and it’s never enough!” A third user wrote, “If you don’t mind me asking, is she very spiritual by any chance? I got that vibe.”
