With over 45 million views, the video is getting mixed reactions. While many social media users hailed Medhar, some found it risky for the baby. Reacting to it, a user wrote, “Wow woman you’re great.” Another user commented, “Look like Sai Pallavi. Superb.”

“Please don’t do this circus wt the kid in hand….flaring in banned,” a third user reacted. “Aag wala galat tha with the baby in hand! (Juggling glass bottles set ablaze with a baby was wrong) Should have avoided,” another user wrote.

Also known as bar magic, flair bartending is performed by bartenders to entertain customers by juggling and flipping bottles, and sometimes adding a twist with the use of flaming liquors.

According to reports, Medhar started her practice after completing her BCom degree. “I used to wake up at 5 am and practice for eight-nine hours daily. Of course, practicing with glass bottles and metal shakers means injury, but I persevered through them,” she had said in an interview with The Cocktail Story.

In 2020, she created a world record for the fastest female flair bartender after she did over 110 flips of two bottles and juggled simultaneously.
