Cricketer and Rajya Sabha MP Harbhajan Singh shared the video, calling it a testament to Punjab’s unbreakable spirit. Sharing the video on X, he wrote, “When volunteers went to deliver relief materials, the flood-affected family despite having lost almost everything prepared tea and served it to the volunteers in return. That’s the spirit of Punjab. Rab de bande.”

The video resonated with several social media users, garnering over one lakh views. “The true spirit of Punjab shines brightest in tough times like these. Even after losing so much, the warmth and hospitality shown by flood-affected families to volunteers is truly inspiring. Rab Rakha to all those standing strong and supporting each other,” a user wrote. “Punjab has seen a lot …be it partition…be r!0t$…but has always been a provider ..salute to its spirit,” another user commented.

Governor Gulab Chand Kataria and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann separately visited some of the affected regions. Mann surveyed the flood-hit areas of Ferozepur by boat, while Kataria visited both Ferozepur and the severely impacted Tarn Taran district.
