The Delhi Police hop onto every trend possible to raise traffic safety awareness among people. This time, the Delhi Police shared a hilarious post with an Oscar twist, highlighting the importance of wearing a helmet while riding a two-wheeler. Sharing the creative on social media, Delhi Police asked users to comment down the excuses for not wearing a helmet.

The text on the creative read, “Oscar for Best Story goes to……”Bas yahin tak jaana tha, isliye helmet nahi layaya (I had to cover a short distance, this is why I skipped wearing a helmet).”

Soon after the post went viral, users flooded the comment section with hilarious reactions and shared the excuses they give for not wearing a helmet, when nabbed by a traffic police. A user commented, “Paytm nai cash Lunga, Jake us dukaan pe kardo is the best (I won’t take Paytm cash, go to that shop, this is the best).” Another user wrote, “Going to buy helmet now.”

“Sir I was sitting behind,” the third user wrote. A section of users also hailed the Delhi Police over their sense of humour. “Delhi police sense of humour awesome,” a user commented. “Brother, who is handling the account of Delhi police,” asked another user.

Earlier, the Delhi Police referred Netflix’s comedy series “Maamla Legal Hai” to raise awareness about traffic rules. Sharing a creative, the handle wrote, “If you don’t follow the traffic rules toh maamla illegal hai. Always follow traffic rules!”
