Coldplay wrapped up the Mumbai leg of their “Music of the Spheres” tour with a three-day musical extravaganza at DY Patil Stadium, leaving lakhs of fans with unforgettable memories. But the magic didn’t end there—the post-concert buzz spilled over into the city, culminating in an unexpected encore on a Mumbai local train.

Moksha Shah, a Mumbai-based content creator and concert attendee, captured a heart-warming moment of fellow passengers who had attended the show, turning the train coach into an impromptu Coldplay jam session. Sharing the video on social media, she captioned it: “The real Coldplay concert was the train back home.”

The clip shows enthusiastic fans belting out Hymn for the Weekend, playing the track on their phones to recreate the electric atmosphere of the concert.

The wholesome video has gotten over 4.7 million views already. “Guys this was the train back home after the concert, everyone who attended the concert just did a mini concert even when there was no place to sit. I found this so wholesome that this city can do anything,” Shah said in the comments.

Netizens also took over the comments section to express their views on the video. A user commented, “The same compartments will be buzzing will bhajan kirtan a little over 8 hours away from this, beauty of Mumbai.’

Another user said, “Itna vibe agar stadium me kar liya hota to paisa wasool ho jata.”

Another user wrote, “Not everyone who got tickets was a die-hard Coldplay fan from the start, and that’s okay. Imagine going to the concert just for the light show, the energy, and the vibe, and walking out as a newfound fan of Coldplay. That’s the beauty of music – it connects with people in unexpected ways. Instead of blaming the hype or the ones who went, let’s celebrate the fact that their music touched even those who didn’t know much about them before. It just shows how incredible Coldplay really is!”

A fourth person commented, “Why are people hating on them for singing Coldplay songs? How is that a bad thing? They are just enjoying themselves.”

Coldplay will now head to Ahmedabad for two concerts at the Narendra Modi Stadium, scheduled for January 25 and 26.
