A dramatic chase between a man who tried to flee a petrol pump without paying and a police van—arriving just in time—is taking social media by storm. What caught people’s attention is how the scene played out, almost straight out of a Rohit Shetty Singham movie.

The viral footage began with station staff filling fuel to the man’s vehicle and waiting for him to pay. The man then exited the car looking for a scanner to pay. While the station staff stood near the vehicle filling the fuel tank, the man quickly got inside his car and drove away, perplexing the staff.

As the video progressed, a police van was seen standing in the queue at the fuel station for their turn. In the blink of an eye, police arrived and chased the car.

The video was shared by an X handle, @gharkekalesh, which is known for sharing videos of altercations around the world. “A car attempted to flee without paying, but the police arrived just in time (This is Cinema),” the handle wrote.

With over 6,58,000 views, the video ignited a sea of hilarious reactions. “Lot of folks out here can’t afford a diesel buying the car anyway. Like, I’m on a two-wheeler filling up the tank, and someone with a car pulls up putting just 100Rs diesel,” a user wrote. “This is south movie type of cinema. Bro should have looked behind!” another user commented.

“It would’ve been cooler if they turned the siren on,” a third user reacted. “No. Its not petrol non payment case. Its purely police following him on another case,” another user wrote.
