As a heatwave continues to grip northwestern India, a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan in Rajasthan's Bikaner was seen roasting a papad by covering it with sand. Bikaner is often one of the hottest cities in Rajasthan. The temperature has risen beyond 46 degree Celsius this year. Shared by the handle @FrontalForce on X, the now-viral video begins with the BSF jawan—in his uniform, with his face covered, and holding a gun—placing a papad under the sand. He waits a few seconds, removes the sand from the papad and breaks it into pieces. A crunch can be heard in the video as he does this. “Salute to Our Jawans.
