Tanisha Mallya from Bengaluru, in a series of posts on X, shared a harrowing experience she had with an Ola auto driver. She claimed that the auto driver demanded extra money and misbehaved with her. Her post has gone viral with over 225K views. “I had a very harrowing and unsettling experience with my @Olacabs booking today in Bangalore. I had booked an Ola Auto which showed a fare range of Rs 347-356 for a ~25km journey,” Mallya wrote on X. The driver, she wrote, was “adamant” and demanded Rs 470 as he drove for 45 kms. “When I fought back that he should take this up w/ Ola not me, he got out of the vehicle & started using swear words and asked me to get back in the auto so he can "leave me where he picked me up" & that I should raise an issue w/ customer support if I don’t want to pay him Rs470,” Mallya wrote on X, also saying she did not get any help from Ola yet. "This a deeply shocking situation & I have not been able to get any support from @Olacabs so far, not even a chance to speak to their customer care," she wrote. A similar incident happened in March when a man was harassed by an Ola auto driver over the rate of the ride. According to reports, the customer claimed that an Ola auto driver demanded a price hike for a trip from HSR to Whitefield and even threatened him.
