Ishan Sharma, a 22-year-old who dropped out from BITS, recently hosted a podcast with Ashneer Grover, Sarthak Ahuja, Sanjeev Bikhchandani and Asish Mohapatra. In the podcast, the former Shark Tank India judge spoke about how youngsters in India are living in a ‘bubble’ as compared to the US.

In the viral clip, Grover says youngsters in India are not exposed to the world, while in the US, 16-year-olds work in McDonalds and other places. “Humko lagta hai US wale naive hain. Ulta hai! US ke bacche are more experienced. India mein aaj ki generation jo nikal rahi hai na wo toh bubble hai puri. Aap ek society mein reh rahe ho jiska gate band hai. Uske bahar kaise duniya chalti hai aapko nahi pata (We think Americans are naive but it’s the exact opposite. Youngsters in America are more experienced. The current generation in India is living in a bubble. They live in gated societies and have no idea of the outside world),” he says in the video.

Same type of logon mein club banaya gaya hai taaki kal ko love marriage ho toh same strata mein ho (Clubs have been formed in societies so that if someone wants to do a love marriage it happens in the same strata),” he adds.
