Days after slamming Delhi government’s odd-even formula to check pollution, author Chetan Bhagat on Thursday again criticised Kejriwal government’s idea to exempt lone women drivers and patients from the new rule. In a series of tweets, Bhagat argued why the government is so sensitive only towards women and not men who also are exposed to the risk of getting ‘robbed and killed’.
So odd-even rule doesn’t apply to women only cars, for safety. Because men, you know, can never be robbed, attacked, feel unsafe or killed.

Am stunned to see how ridiculous, arbitrary, discriminatory, undemocratic and watered down this odd-even plan is becoming. Still, go for it!

Good intentions and ridiculous ideas are two different things. I praise you for the former, but can’t approve the latter.

Women exempt from odd-even rule. Soon, men in Delhi are going to wrap dupattas around their heads and driving their cars. Go Delhi go!

Cop checklist: Is it odd date? Car odd numbered? Only women?passenger sick? Not Gurgaon/Noida? Sunday? Is it 8am-8pm?Repeat for lakhs, daily!

His tweets went viral on social media and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal himself retweeted two of them.
Bhagat, thinking retweets are endorsements, was quick to respond to the CM.
Dear CM, instead of retweeting my trolls, why not respectfully discuss apprehensions people may have on a scheme? pic.twitter.com/Z7XXcw6Yhz

Dear CM, when you retweet trolls making personal attacks on me,you tacitly encourage them. And that’s what they are doing right now. Thanks.
