Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra Group, offered a job to the teenage girl who hogged headlines after she foiled a monkey attack using Alexa. Hailing the Uttar Pradesh teen, Mahindra called her “quick thinking as extraordinary” and promised her a job after she completed her education.
According to ANI, the incident took place in the Basti district of Uttar Pradesh at Nikita’s sister’s place where she was playing with her one-year-old niece near the kitchen on the first floor of the house. As they were playing, the two girls were attacked by a monkey. Using her presence of mind, Nikita commanded Alexa to bark to scare away the monkey, ANI reported.
Mahindra wrote on X, “The dominant question of our era is whether we will become slaves or masters of technology. The story of this young girl provides comfort that technology will always be an ENABLER of human ingenuity. Her quick thinking was extraordinary.”
“What she demonstrated was the potential for leadership in a entirely unpredictable world. After she finishes her education, If she ever decides to work in the corporate world I hope we at @MahindraRise will be able to convince her to join us!!” he added.

Anand Mahindra’s decision to offer a job to the girl left several social media users impressed. One of them said, “It is a great gesture from you sir, for appreciating the young girl for using her presence of mind to overcome the situation by using technology is really tremendous.” Another user commented, “This incident shows that the new generation’s comfort with technology can have major advantages – if we are open minded enough to notice them.”
