A conversation between a child and his father broadcast on French television in the backdrop of the heinous Paris terror attacks is probably the most moving stuff you would see. Ever since terrorists affiliated to the dreaded outfit Islamic State bombed several sites in Paris leading to the death of more than 120 people, there have been several heartrending accounts on social media highlighting the plight of Parisians.

But perhaps, this video which has gone viral on Facebook with more than 5,00,000 shares and 33,000 comments, would steal the day.

A journalist from the French television show Le Petit Journal interviewed a father-son duo to hear their perspectives on the terror attacks. The child, innocent as ever, displays his fears about how he may have to leave ‘his house’ as there are ‘bad guys.’ It’s the manner in which the dad assuages his son’s concerns thoughtfully that makes the video great to watch.

“They have guns, they can shoot us because they are really, really mean daddy,” the kid says.

“It’s ok, they might have guns, but we have flowers….look everyone is putting flowers. It’s to fight against guns,” his dad replies.

The duo speak in French, but subtitles have been added for English viewers.

Take a look.
