Not so surprisingly, the top trending searches in India prominently feature cricket matches, as it’s not just a sport but an emotion for many Indians.

The Indian Premier League (IPL), a highly popular cricket league known for its star players, has remained in the spotlight this season, especially with the recent player auctions.

After India’s defeat in the T20 World Cup last November, this year’s series generated even more interest.
