Their combined net worth is $16.1 trillion, and about one-third of them live in the United States. The U.S. has been a centre for wealth migration. Forbes reports that the number of foreign-born billionaires in the country has reached a historic peak of 125, coming from 41 different countries. About 14 per cent of the billionaires in America are foreign-born and collectively hold wealth worth $1.3 trillion.
