Sumita Srivastava, a resident of Allahabad, is immensely proud of her prized asset - her long overflowing hair. It may not be blonde like the fairy tale princess Rupanzel, but it is equally long, if not more. She is not growing it to help a knight in shining armour to rescue her from captivity, but to enter into the Guinness book of world records one day. Sumita's beautiful black hair measures a startling 7 feet (2.1m) in length, and has already earned her a Limca record when it was 6 feet (1.8m) long. In this video, Sumita showcases her hair and the extensive care she takes to eventually achieve her goal of securing the Guinness world record. "People don't believe that my real hair are so long. Children and women come up to me and ask to touch my hair before believing," says Sumita. The present world record is held by Xie Qiuping of China whose hair measure a whopping 18 feet (5.627m).
