Airtel introduces new free calling voice-packs for broadband users

In a first of its kind offer, Airtel broadband customers can now buy voice-packs that allow free voice-calling to any network.

In a first of its kind offer, Airtel broadband customers can now buy voice-packs that allow free voice-calling to any network.

According to a press release from Airtel, there are two voice-calling packs for its broadband customers offering unlimited free voice calls to any network, both fixed line and mobile.

The first pack which costs Rs 49 per month allows unlimited free local calls and the second one which costs Rs 99 per month allows unlimited free STD+local calls. The service has been launched exclusively for broadband users.

What this means is that if you have an Airtel broadband connection with the fixed line from Airtel installed as well, you can add and activate these packs on the landline device that comes with your Airtel broadband connection. To activate the voice-packs, customers have to send an SMS to 53636 from their registered mobile number.
