Spotify, the music streaming platform used by millions worldwide reportedly faced an issue with many complaining that their playlists were not showing. While users could play music without a problem, it seemed like a glitch was causing user-created playlists to disappear but auto-generated playlists like ‘Daily Mix’ are unaffected by the issue.

Many Spotify users have expressed their frustration on X (formerly Twitter) and are asking if they are the only ones affected by the problem. According to DownDetector, the website tracking the online status of various services, the problem started somewhere around 3 PM IST.

Despite hundreds of posts tagging Spotify on X, the company hasn’t said anything about disappearing playlists. In the image below, you can see that user-created playlists are currently shown as blank on the iPhone version of the app where they are not at all visible on the Android version of Spotify.

Users suggest the problem is not limited to mobile devices but is affecting those using the browser version of Spotify as well. As it turns out, the glitch affected users for around an hour or so but Spotify seems to have fixed the problem.
