Pokémon GO has now led to a shooting in Florida, says a report in USA Today. According to the report, two teenagers aged 19 and 16 were shot at while they were sitting in a car and playing Pokémon GO. The incident happened around 1:30 am on Primrose Lanem when a man walked out of his house with a gun and fired at the car.

The teenagers sped off and tried checking for bullet holes on the car, but couldn’t because of the dark. They initially thought the alleged shooter only was trying to scare them away. It wasn’t until morning that they found bullet holes on their car, and went to the police.

The alleged shooter, however, said he shot at the vehicle because he saw the car with its brake lights switched on parked in front of his house. “He recalled hearing someone say something to the effect of ‘did you get anything?’,” says USA Today report.
