Oppo announces Reno 10 Pro+, Reno 10 Pro with true triple camera setup

Oppo on Monday unveiled two new camera-focused smartphones — Reno 10 Pro+ and the Reno 10 in India. While the Reno 10 Pro+ is the world’s first smartphone with a 64 MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 120x digital zoom, the Reno 10 Pro also comes with a 32 MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and 20x digital zoom support.

The Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ is priced at Rs 54,999 and the Reno 10 Pro costs Rs 39,999.  Both devices will be available starting July 13th via Flipkart, Oppo.com, and select offline stores across the country.

The more expensive Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ is based on the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, and the device also has a dedicated Marisilicon chip for image processing. Similarly, the Reno 10 Pro is based on the Snapdragon 778G SoC, and both phones offer up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.

The Oppo Reno Pro+ has a triple camera setup at the back with a 50 MP primary camera, 64 MP telephoto lens and an 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens. Similarly, the Reno 10 Pro also has a 50 MP primary camera, a 32 MP telephoto lens, and an 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens. Both phones have a 32 MP selfie camera with support for up to 1080p video recording.

The Reno 10 Pro+ and the Reno 10 Pro also have an identical 6.74-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Reno 10 Pro+ has a slightly bigger 4,700 mAh battery with up to 100W fast charging support and the Reno 10 Pro has a 4,600 mAh battery that supports up to 80W fast wired charging and reverse charging.

In terms of software, the Reno 10 Pro and the Reno 10 Pro+ ship with Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1 skin on top and the device is likely to get at least three major Android OS and security updates.
