LG is known for its innovation and the company’s newest product StandbyME Go is unlike any other monitor that we have seen so far. This novelty 27-inch monitor with touch support comes with a suitcase, which makes it easy to carry around.

Priced at $999, this is a perfect monitor and an entertainment solution, for those who love travelling and camping. Specs-wise, this is a 60Hz 1080p LED monitor, fueled by a Li-ion battery that can deliver up to three hours of battery life. Thanks to a built-in gyroscope, the monitor can be used in both landscape and portrait modes.

For the asking price, the monitor does offer Dolby Vision and the built-in 20W speakers also support Dolby Atmos. The LG StandbyME Go is powered by the custom Alpha 7 AI processor Gen5 and runs on webOS with support for Apple AirPlay2.

It comes with a full-sized HDMI port, allowing users to connect the monitor to a gaming console, laptop, or even a smart tv dongle. Besides, this is also a smart monitor with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity with support for apps like Disney+, Netflix, and Prime Video. It also comes with a smart remote with hotkeys to access these OTT platforms and the case also has an USB Type-C port on the front, which allows users to charge the device even when closed.

The availability of the LG StandbyME Go suitcase monitor is limited to the US and the company is currently offering a complimentary XBoom 360 Bluetooth speaker with each pre-order.
